  1. Select the Drive Surface, Part Surface, Guide, Start Point, and Stop Point at the left side of the workpiece.
  2. Select a Ø8 mm Flat End Mill as the cutting tool.
  3. Set the Tool Path Style to One Way.
  4. Set the Distance Between Paths to 0.8 mm.
  5. Set the Number of Paths to 1.
  6. Set the Machining Mode to Side Finish Last Level.
  7. Set the Guidance Mode to Tanto Fan.
  8. Activate the Approach, Retract, Return in a Level Retract, Return in a Level Approach, Return Finish Pass Retract, and Return Finish Pass Approach options.
  9. Set the motion parameters to:
    • Axial Motion Up to a Plane
    • Motion to a Point
    • Tool Axis Motion
    • Tolerance = 50 mm
  10. Compute the toolpath and run the first machining simulation to check the tool movement, surface machining, and collision safety.
  11. Second Simulation:
    • Copy and paste the completed machining operation.
    • Re-select the Part Surface, Guide, Start Point, and Stop Point at the right side of the workpiece.
    • Recompute the toolpath.
    • Run the second machining simulation to verify the opposite side finishing operation and ensure correct machining without errors.
